Lisa Bloom on Times Radio re Prince Andrew

Attorney Lisa Bloom, who represents multiple Jeffrey Epstein victims, explains the significance of legal papers being served on Prince Andrew in Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s civil sexual abuse lawsuit. Bloom argues that successful service means the case can now move forward, allowing Giuffre’s legal team to begin issuing subpoenas for documents, communications, calendars, and other evidence that could place the two together at the times and locations where Roberts alleges he abused her at age 17.

Bloom criticizes Prince Andrew’s apparent strategy of evading service as typical of wealthy predators and says it reflects poorly on him, noting that while gated residences and palaces make personal service difficult, the law accounts for this by allowing documents to be left with an appropriate person such as a security guard or assistant, which she says is precisely what occurred, as a British process server filed a sworn affidavit stating that a security guard at the gate accepted service on Prince Andrew’s behalf, making it legally sufficient regardless of his team’s disputes.
